Working for Lark Energy we have recently got another solar park up and running. These cables were damaged and left in water which has travelled through to the core of the cable. When we were called to site we had to tidy up the joint bay, which was in a treacherous, unsafe condition. We then traced back 70m to a dry section, this was then replaced with new cable and jointed with 33kV REPL straight joints.
